LDS Conference Weekend

It was Laura's birthday on friday. My parents got her and her friends a condo in Deer Valley for the night. I was planning on staying up there with them, but then my cousin Maegan came down from Canada, and we decided we wanted to go to the Neon Trees concert in Provo. It was such a blast. We pushed our way all the way to the front. People were really annoyed with us but we didn't care because we were having too much fun. 

We also went to the saturday morning General Conference session. It was so fun to get together with some old friends. We also did a little shopping. We actually stayed in SLC all day. We ended up going to Alamexo for dinner, and let me just say I don't really understand what all of the fuss is about... In my opinion it was just overpriced Mexican food. $10 for Guacamole? Who honestly wants to spend that? Anyway... I had a great weekend and I thank Maegan for bringing me out of my comfort zone. I hope you all had a beautiful General Conference fall weekend!!

Logan can be fun

Hunter and I are pretty much inseparable. This weekend we went to a Mardi Gras dance party, sleepovers, watched Endless Love (so sappy), made healthy dinners, told each other we couldn't talk about our missionaries... that was a challenge, and went to the temple to walk around. Life is good up here in Logan. Hope everyone had a good weekend as well! Wish me luck on my midterms this week. And good luck to any of you that have tests as well!!

Weekend Diary

This weekend I got together with my cute friend Hunter Kofford from high school. We had a fun girls night and made missionary packages, took pictures and touched up my blog! Do you like it? You can thank Hunter. She did it for me. I have been wanting to fix my blog for a while, but just didn't know how to go about doing it. So thank you Hunter for making my blog look good! I love having girls nights. It has been too long. Also, Hunter makes every other missionaries girlfriend look bad with all of her cute packages. She is a crafty woman. 

I also had my most amazing workout ever on saturday. I ran 3.5 miles. I ran my first two miles in 9 minutes, then I did an arm workout, then I ran a mile and a half on the track. Who said you couldn't split your run up half way through? Next time I'll try to do it consistently, but this week I was honestly bored out of my mind! I hate running at the gym. I would much rather be outside getting fresh air, but I didn't feel like running in the snow, so I opted for the gym. Doesn't hurt that there are buff babes there either. And hey, if that is motivation enough for you, then go for it ;)

Grappa on Main

My favorite little house

The top of Park City near the Montage. 

On friday Tay surprised me and took me to my favorite restaurant Grappa at the top of Main Street. It is the perfect Italian environment and just the cutest little restaurant. We had a nice little chat, and then we hiked to the water towers that overlook Park City. After our little walk up the mountain in my new shoes (I debated going barefoot) we went to our good friends beautiful home at the top of Park City for some games and Nitro Circus videos. It was one of my favorite dates that I have had so far. I sure do love that boy.
On Saturday we went with some of Taylor's friends to my first drive in movie. It was quite the crowded but fun experience. I had such a fun weekend and I hope that you all did too! The only downside was moving everything we own out of our house in three days and into a condo. Luckily we are finished with that!

a week in review

Creating braids in church. 

I am sure going to miss this view! I mean, does it get any better? 

This week was a busy one indeed. I got sick right when i was supposed to help pack and move my house. Yesterday we moved everything we had in our house and last night because my bed was in the storage, I stayed with luke and rachel in that cute bed in the first picture up there. Moving is crazy and i never realized how much stuff i had until i tried to fit it all in one place!! man oh man that was a problem. But we did it, now all we have to do is clean. But i am so glad it is friday!

Tonight Taylor is taking me on a surprise date... um i am so excited. All i was told is to wear something nice. Tomorrow we are going to a drive in movie as well. He is too good to me! Those are my exciting plans for the weekend! Hope you all have a good one :)

Over the weekend

Today was my one of my very best friends farewell. She is going to Orlando Florida in two weeks and i am so happy for her. I knew she was going to be an amazing missionary, but her farewell just added to my confidence of that! She did such an amazing job and I am lucky to have an example like her in my life. I love you Zoë! (She's the red head)

kar's in charge

 

This weekend I am 110% in charge of two little boys, two dogs, a nice car, a big house and everyones well being. That is a lot of pressure for my 19 year old self to handle! I nanny for a couple who has gone out of town for the weekend and I am so glad that they trust me with their kids for that long. Although i have got to say, I am definitely no where near ready to be a mom. I like my sleep and last night i was woken up ever hour by those two little rascals. I am actually tired today. I can't believe the sacrifices that parents give up to have children! So props to all of you parents out there.
We have a fun weekend planned! A trip to the Zoo, the Dinosaur Museum and swim lessons. Hopefully they sleep better the next two nights, but if not I will sure be more grateful for a good nights sleep and make sure that i don't take that for granted. I love you sleep, see you in a few nights.

A Weekend in St. George

 

My family used to take little trips like this all of the time. There was a point where we would go down about every other weekend to visit grandparents while my parents rode their bikes for the St. George Ironman. Jaime has been in Ukraine for four months, and Rachel and Luke just moved back from Rexburg so even though i had to come back early, it reminded me of those days where everyone could leave school or work and just be together as a family. It is getting much harder to do little vacations like this one, and it just felt extra special. Especially since Taylor was able to come. It was so warm and beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better wearther. 

  

The water was freezing. Like beyond cold, so we were proud to have jumped off this little rock.
If it had been warmer, we would have swam to these rocks in the middle of the lake and jumped off,
but we didn't want anyone to get hypothermia. I jumped, can you believe it?

We put sunscreen on each other, but apparently we both kinda suck at it... It was worst than it looks. 

They're expecting! Baby Boy coming August 2013!
