Lots of fun things. First off, Christmas is in two weeks... ummm what? Second off, I get to skype with Taylor and his family this sunday... BEST DAY! Third, two of my bff's get home within the next week and a half. Life is just so good. I spent my week working out, at the temple, at the doctors office and hanging out and taking advantage of the last December I had without finals for a couple years. I could get used to this.

It was Laura's birthday on friday. My parents got her and her friends a condo in Deer Valley for the night. I was planning on staying up there with them, but then my cousin Maegan came down from Canada, and we decided we wanted to go to the Neon Trees concert in Provo. It was such a blast. We pushed our way all the way to the front. People were really annoyed with us but we didn't care because we were having too much fun.
We also went to the saturday morning General Conference session. It was so fun to get together with some old friends. We also did a little shopping. We actually stayed in SLC all day. We ended up going to Alamexo for dinner, and let me just say I don't really understand what all of the fuss is about... In my opinion it was just overpriced Mexican food. $10 for Guacamole? Who honestly wants to spend that? Anyway... I had a great weekend and I thank Maegan for bringing me out of my comfort zone. I hope you all had a beautiful General Conference fall weekend!!

This weekend was great. It really was. On friday I went on a date with my parents to our favorite to El Chubasco (our favorite Mexican restaurant). They were so lucky to have me join them. haha. But the greatest part was picking Taylor up from the airport on saturday night on his way home from India. Two weeks and a day later I am happy to say that we both survived. Well almost. We spent the next 28 hours together... Bless our hearts. It was a long two weeks but it was worth it! He loved it.
Also this weekend was my favorite thing that comes every 6 months, General Conference. I seriously love those two weekends of the year. What better way to spend a weekend than sitting and snuggling listening to our church leaders. Seriously, so great. My mom made our traditional cinnamon rolls, which I regret to say that even though I am doing the Paleo Diet, I ate one. and I loved every single bite.

Happy Easter again! My day was spent at church, sleeping, eating a ham dinner and watching the TV series the bible which is amazing. Seriously. They did an amazing job making it and it made my easter much more meaningful to see what Christ really went through. I would definitely recommend it.
Taylors mission call comes on wednesday!! EEEK! How exciting. how nerve-racking. how good for him.
Yesterday was sunny and warm in salt lake so we decided to hang out outside and have a snowball throwing competition. As someone who has not thrown anything in probably 3 years, i was honestly embarrassed. He plays football and he just laughed at me when my snowball made it like 5 feet and when I threw it directly at the ground. haha oh man.
I'm back for what seems to be the weekly update! Today was a good happy day. Things are good when the church is in your life. Today I spoke in church and I was so nervous! I am never nervous until I sit on the stand and then in the last minute my head spins and I get a very dry mouth and I can't talk loud! It is just awful. But it was a good experience and hopefully i will be good for at least 6 months :)
I have been in a very adventurous mood lately. I am all about hiking and driving around and looking for adventures. I have a few fun adventures lined up for this week since I am on spring break. I am one of those cheesy people who likes to hike and watch the sunset so I am looking forward to doing that. I have found that if I make lists for what I want to do that week, it is easier to stick to a plan and then I don't get lazy and boring! It has really been working for me.
Anyway, I hope that everyone is ready for a new week! I know I am :)

Ok i had to do this. This picture was taken before Taylor (far left) and I (second to the right) were even dating. I would say we're pretty good together :) He literally cracks me up every day. he makes me happy and i love him. This picture sums it up. so there ya go.
Each of us is a beloved son or daughter of heavenly parents. Our Heavenly Father knows us personally and loves us (Psalm 82:6; Hebrews 12:9).
During the busy week it can be hard to stop and remember who we are. It is easy to get caught up in our busy schedules of waking up early for school to working late. On top of that, we have list after list of things we need to do. Far to often we forget who we are... We are Children of God. We have a plan. We have a purpose. No matter what stage of life you are in, God loves you! You are his Child and He is rooting for you. He wants you to succeed! This week take time to thank your Heavenly Father for the opportunities you have been given, and for the people in your life. I know that we are each children of God. He really does love you, and will do anything for you. I am so grateful that I have a family who loves me and will do anything for me! I know that my Heavenly Father is there and is looking out for us and is guiding and directing us to things that will bring true happiness! I know that I am a Child of God and So are You!
