Watercolor Cards

This should have been posted like last monday, but better late than never! These are a few watercolor cards I did during General Conference. I was looking on Pinterest for cute water color ideas, and these are what I found to try my hand at!! Also, there is a tutorial on the floral card up there, HERE. Her blog is so cute and helpful for anyone trying to learn calligraphy or anything!! She is so helpful and does tons of tutorials and things like that. 

I love sending snail mail. I don't know if it is because I have a missionary and that is one of the only ways that we have contact, or what. But sending things in the mail has really become one of my hobbies.

I had to post that selfie of him because that is the first mirror selfie he has ever taken and I was so proud.
Sometimes I have so much I want to say, but then I decide I better not say anything because you will all think I am the crazy missionary who cries at any thing. I will let you decide if that is who I am. I wish I was stronger. I really do. It is hard knowing who you want to marry and having him be no where in sight! Oh gosh. Enough about that.
Anywho people, I am on a roller coaster of feeling good, then I feel sick the next day. (I am referring to my auto immune disease btw...) but it is incredibly hard and honestly str8 up exhausting. Time to figure this shi* out.
I promise I don't really have a potty mouth, but there really are times where it helps the situation...
I am loving this fall weather!! But I am not ready for winter... Let it be fall forever so I can always burn my "Marshmallow Fireside" candle I bought. I can't stop talking about how good it smells .
Is it really October?

Marshmallow Fireside

My favorite candle. Makes my room smell like smores and campfire without all the bugs and tents. 
It is amazing. I bought it at the Bath and Body Works outlet in PC.

Calligraphy practice, Sometimes I practice calligraphy quotes I found on Pinterest...
and I love Pride and prejudice so yeah, this one was perfect.

I found myself getting emotional at a wedding I went to last night. (I wasn't even in the ceremony... bless my heart.)
It made me miss my man. Note to self... don't go to weddings when you miss your missionary. bad idea. 

I spent the weekend with the Brands. (Tays family) it was so great. On Friday night I went to dinner with Tay's mom at this new Mexican restaurant in Holladay. Taco chips, guac and tacos. Nothing I love more. Then I had a sleepover with Tay's sister. We went to breakfast and a movie on saturday with everyone and it was so much fun. Love that family. So glad they let me come around even though Taylor isn't here :)

Randoms

Calligraphy to my man

Tay and I are planning to move to San Fransisco within the next three years if things go as planned.  He sends my little reminders like the 49ers blanket he sent me a few months ago, and this 49ers hat that he sent about a month ago. Basically I don't enjoy football, but I made a promise to myself that I would understand football by the time he comes back.
So I figured I would watch the 49ers tonight, but obvi I am super into it as I blog while I watch...
As for that pizza, It is straight up homemade Quinoa crust, with homemade pesto. All things that are compliant with my very strict eating lifestyle. If you want the recipe I can post it!

This is my favorite house in Utah. I don't know if I love it because it is in Tays neighborhood and it brings back good memories of him, or what. But I am in love with this house and want to live in it someday. 

Sundays are usually the only day of the week that I get ready, so I gotta document it. 

I was scrolling through my pics the other day and I just can't get over this one. He is the manliest man. I miss him.

Wheeler Farms in Holladay is just the cutest little farm.
I love taking the boys I nanny there for picnics and wandering and what not.
 If you ever have a chance, it is very relaxing and very pretty there!

Sorry that I can't get over my missionary... actually not sorry at all! 10 months. I can do this. I have some big decisions to make. Damn. I hate making decisions!!

Calligraphy & Shadows

I can't even tell you how obsessed with calligraphy I am. I am like writing calligraphy in my mind while I type this post. I Can't get enough of it. I bought myself my first calligraphy pen two nights ago, and every spare minute since I got it, I have been practicing. It is a good reason for me to write people that I love little "thinking of you" notes. Because everybody deserves something pretty and handwritten in the mail sometimes. I have always loved stationary. Ever since I was little. I have always been all about leaving notes on peoples pillows or whatever it may be. This is just a little way to show somebody that you love them. Thinking of starting my own little calligraphy company :) 

I wrote these little notes last night, and this morning after I made myself a yummy bacon and smoothie breakfast, there was this gorgeous shadow in my room. Sorry If you think the photos are a bit excessive, but I just couldn't get enough of playing with the shadow!! My two favorite things, photography and calligraphy :)

It is friday and all of my roommates have left me for the weekend. I am trying to decide if I drive to Rexburg, ID to visit my sis and nephew, or if I go home to Park City. It is a unknown to me right now. I role so last minute that sometimes it causes me stress. I am not a planner. I like the spontaneity of doing something last minute. So I will let you know later what I decide to do this weekend :) I hope that you all have a fun Spontaneous weekend. Send someone a little "thinking of you" note. And I promise you, they'll love it.
