Life in the city (park and salt lake)

The Natural History Museum in SLC is actually amazing. 
I took the little rascals I nanny today, and I really loved it. The architecture isn't bad either. 

SLC is so pretty right now. It was 83 degrees today and I really liked it. 
Also my own ride as a nanny;)

I got to shoot some pictures for my dad's COMPANIES website.
 I have also been living in my new Birkenstocks. Best splurge ever. Not kidding. 
And I also love my boy's sweater :)

A pretty fire place I found on Main Street today. 

I got to skype with my Missionary on Sunday, and it was so much fun to see him and talk to him. He is doing so well. I am so amazed with all of his progress and hard work. I am so grateful for him. Sometimes I am really sad he is gone. but I just look forward to hearing from him every week!! (sometimes twice a week) so it is ok. 15 months to go. (Does it ever get better???) I LOVE TAY BRAND. Even still after 9 months ;)
Life has been good to me. I am very thankful and happy.

    birkenstocks... are those comfortable? i need good sandals for summer walking! have you heard of the salt water ones? i'm debating between buying those, or a different brand. what's your opinion?
    also is that a bmw? haha do you get to keep it or just use it while you are a nanny? my friend is a nanny in amsterdam right now and she is definitely getting like mad hookups. it's such a sweet deal!

      Hi Emily!
      So I am obsessed with these birks. Honestly, I haven't taken them off in 5 days. But... The first two days I wore them, they really hurt my feet and I got huge blisters on both feet!!! But I have heard that Birks take a while to break in, so I am wearing them everyday until I leave to Switzerland (10 days!) They feel a million times better, and they don't hurt my feet at all now. So I would say it is worth suffring the first few days, because now I don't want to take them off. Ok sorry long explanation!!
      And the car is a Mercedes :) It is my car until next august!! Nanny jobs def come with ups and downs!! but I love it.
