JB in PC

So not to be obnoxious or anything but today there was this huge rumor that Justin Bieber was in Park City and that he was going to come to our school and talk to us about drugs (Obvs I don't need that talk...) but he never showed up! I knew that he was in Park City though for a huge ski thing this weekend. Then as soon as I picked Laura up from school, she told me that her friend said that JB was going to be at the Park City  Mountain area at 3:30 today. So naturally, me and Laura get dolled up to go see the man of our dreams. We randomly see this good looking kid doing the dougie on the outdoor skating arena. Then me and LOLO put two and two together and realized it was the biebs! I about died on the spot. I never thought he would actually be where someone said he would be. It was amazing. We just creepily watched him until they left. Then as they were walking away, Selena wraps her arms around him like "he is mine stay away" ok honey, obvs we just want our pic with him!! Then to really rub it in our faces, she jumps on his back! ugh. Then cute Jaden Smith with the rad dinosaur sweatshirt does the I love you sign with his hands out the window as they drove off. I was freaking out. Seriously love the Biebs!
Unfortunately the older guy with gray hair told us no pictures, so this is all we got :(

p.s. here is a link to a couple of my senior pictures... more to come.

love dove

It was one of those days today where dove chocolate just about cured everything. As I open my chocolates, I always read the little quote on the inside. Make a list of your dreams... Don't mind if i do :)

-To go to a good university and find my future husband which will then be followed by...
-A wedding in the Salt Lake City Temple
-Moving somewhere in the East Coast (Boston, NY, DC) indoor brick apartment
-To drive a dream Mini Cooper with two black stripes down the center
- To be a Ballerina again
-Having precious kiddos that are the cutest most fashionable things ever
-Decorating my own little home
-Baking and crafting all day long

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Lights on at the Gateway

Loving this idea.
Yes please

Since my dad does the Christmas light at the Gateway, it is always a tradition to go to the Gateway for the Christmas Light countdown. Such a good way to kick off the Holiday Season!

I am so excited, I am going to the breaking Dawn midnight premiere tonight and I can't wait for my heart to be swollen with love for vampires and werewolves. It is so worth the drive to Salt Lake, a three hour wait and never ending sounds of girls talking about how HOT Edward is. (Yes i am team Edward.) Can't wait!

New Glasses

I have always worn contacts but I finally have glasses to go with them! It is such a great feeling to be able to come home from school and take my contacts out and throw these bad boys on. I am very excited about the Bossy Frames that I got.
Oh yeah, see those two girls in the middle picture?! My family has adopted them for the week and it has been nothing but late nights and non stop laughter.

Long week

{Sequins and Sparkles cheer everyone up}
I don't usually have bad days, or weeks, but this week has just proved me wrong. By Monday this week, I was asking if it was Friday yet, and everyday after that was just going by slower and slower. Things kept happening that just disappointed me and there was nothing I could do. I am just excited to be able to start a new week and forget about this one. Sorry for the negativity my friends, but this happens to everyone right? Please tell me I am not the only one.

Look at the bright side though, 45 days until Christmas! Man a break sounds lovely right about now. I am excited to celebrate 11.11.11 tomorrow! Are you doing anything fun for the weekend?

Winter Welcome

Call me crazy but Winter... is here. It has been snowing for the past two days and hasn't been above freezing. They have already started the Christmas scene here in PC. There are Christmas lights going up all over the place and as I look out my window, I see the Canyons Ski Resort all lit up like it is the North Pole. I guess I just have to embrace the wonderful Christmas spirit a little earlier here.
I am so excited for all those walks at night during a snowfall, walking up and down Main Street with a cup of hot chocolate in hand and bundling up inside watching a Christmas movie. Bring on the scarves, fingerless gloves, hot chocolate and winter boots. This my friends really is the most beautiful time of the year.

Karamel Pretzels

Is it to early to start listening to Christmas music? The weather here is just teasing me. I woke up to 2 or 3 inches of snow this morning and the temperature was a high of 27 degrees.  It made me want to watch Christmas movies and jam the Christmas tunes. But it is a little too early to start on my Christmas phase so I only listened to Jon Schmidt's winter CD while my sisters and I made these caramel and chocolate covered pretzels.

How to make dipped caramel and chocolate pretzels
First we dipped the tips of the pretzels in caramel and put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes. While they were freezing, we took a bag of Ghirardelli Milk and White chocolate chips and melted them in separate pans on the oven with some shortening so it would thin the chocolate out. Then we dipped our pretzels in the chocolate and added different sprinkles and toppings to each one.

A List.

A List of randomness...
  • Note to ALL guys. If you call a girl and ask her on a date, don't change your mind half way through the phone call and ask her sister.
  • Get better mama! She broke her wrist today.
  • I wont be in NYC this weekend.
  • My first blind date tomorrow! (different than the other date I talked about)
  • Lunch time is the worst part of my day. I am sick of sitting in my car! (not to be a complainer)
  • My new boots that came in the mail! Tip of the day: If your boots don't fit, there may or may not be stuffing shoved in the toe ;)
  • Best part of my week: cuddling up during a snow storm and watching a good movie.
  • So ready for the weekend.
